DriveSitter is currently available forthe following operating systems:


It requires a Pentium-class computer system equipped with at least a true-color VGA graphic card and at least 32MB RAM.
Installation requires about 3MB of free space on a fixed hard disk drive and administrative privileges.

DriveSitter version 1.6 and above does not require administrative privileges when run on Windows 2000, XP or Vista.

Licensing of DriveSitter requires at least one hard disk drive detected by DriveSitter.

Windows 98, 98SE, ME and NT 4 (with Service Pack 4) are supported by the legacy version 1.5 of DriveSitter.
On Windows 98, 98SE and ME DriveSitter requires the SMARTVSD.VXD driver to be properly installed. This driver commonly ships with Windows and is automatically installed; it is not included in the installation package of DriveSitter. If you are missing this driver, please contact the technical support.
