Interest might wake this version first of all with the developers or publishers of psychological measuring instruments, since thereby the possibility is given to make their customers available all their scales together with the free application. You develop the psychological measuring instrument and make your customers available free of charge and at very small expenditure - on a disk, CD-ROM or world-wide on the internet - the free conversion software together with your user-defined scales.

		ScaleTrans Lite is in charge of a special installation, which imports your provided, user-defined scales automatically. Your customers just execute the installation and can immediately work with your scales, as if these were firmly integrated into the program.
		ScaleTrans Lite supports both linear and area transformations. As a special case of area transformations, percentiles are treated particularly comfortable.
		In addition, ScaleTrans Lite features the transformation based on areas of arbitrary empirical distributions into all scales types and vice versa. The empirical data can be imported from most statistical packages and table calculation programs as for example MS Excel, Minitab, SAS, SPSS or Statistica. Particularly optimized algorithms are applied for discrete and continuous distributions in each case. Thus ScaleTrans makes possible problem-free and methodically correct handling of anormal-distributed test scales.
		ScaleTrans Lite makes possible the comfortable, accurate and fast conversion of separate values of any user-defined scale into all other scales. You only choose the reference scale and the reference value is transformed immediately into all available scales equivalents. Besides, the whole output can be copied at any time and be inserted in any table calculation or word processing application.
		ScaleTrans Lite supports exclusively the calculation based upon user-defined reference scales.
		ScaleTrans Lite visualizes the position and cumulated area of the reference value in a normal distribution. The size of the graphic can individually be adapted proportionally or unproportionally; farther the graphic can be copied, stored and be inserted in any text or image processing application. This function is particularly useful with the creation of diagnostic findings or reports.
		ScaleTrans Lite allows the import of hundreds of user-defined scales which can serve as reference scales.
		ScaleTrans Lite permits the export of all user-defined scales. Thus also user of the Lite-Version can pass on selected scales to other users.
		ScaleTrans Lite allows the export of all user-defined scales into a text format readable for the user. In this way you can put together all specifications of all of your scales within a few seconds. The further processing of the scale information for example in a text processing application (e.g. MS-Word) is fast and simply realizable.
		Of course ScaleTrans Lite also supports the import of previously exported scales. You can select the scales to be imported comfortably. With the import the correctness of the imported data is checked constantly, so that potentially damaged data is tracked down.
		ScaleTrans Lite is free of charge also for the commercial use. You may distribute the Lite-Version of ScaleTrans, for example, on a diskette together with your scales and therefore make possible to your customers the conversion of the raw values of your scales in all predefined standard scales by the click on a button.
